Today I'm not going to talk about amazing supercars. I don't know what I've to talk about today because this is the last post I'm sharing with you in this blog, or maybe not.
The academic course is almost finished and with it, the posts won't be mandatory. Will I continue posting something about supercars? I don't know. In this moment I just want to spend my time preparing and studying for the final tests and "sele", and when they have finished, summer holidays will be here and then, the university. As I suppose that this blog won't keep going, I wanted to dedicate the last post to give you the farewell and to thank you for all you did.
So, as I don't like goodbyes, THANK YOU for give me the possibility to work with this tool and for all the experiences that I had working with it.

The future, now: Porsche 918 Spyder
So, yes it is! As you just read, the Porsche 918 Spyder is from the future. Let's start talking about facts, don't you think?
This amazing car will be powered by a 4.0-liter V8 petrol engine that produces almost 500 hp, but it'll be supported by two electric motors that provide 215 additional hp. All this power, coupled to its seven-speed PDK transmission, will be able to take the 918 from 0-100 km/h in under 3.1 seconds and reach 320 km/h as top speed. Woah! But that isn't all yet!
As the majority of the models we can find in today's market, this car will have different operating models. Depending in which you select, all the car' settings will change. There're 4 differents operating models:
· E-Power: let's drive in a green way. The electric engines take priority: now, they provide the power. I can sure you that you won't get far.
· Hybrid: the car combines both kind of engines, the petrol and the elctrics. It will be the most suitable to switch while driving as we should drive.
· Sport Hybrid: as Porsche said, "is designed for adventurous driving on back country roads".
· Race Hybrid: just like the Sport Hybrid, but so motivated, excited. Designed for track use, and provides all the power and control, taking the car out of its own limits.
Porsche estimates that the 918 Spyder will began to be produced in September 2013, and will be priced, attention, in 645.000€ in Europe.

Dodge Charger MOPAR edition: pure wildness
I'm back! and ready to show you this new edition that will make cry to all of those American muscle car' fans.
So, yes! Dodge has just unveiled this new edition or "kit" for the Charger at the New York AutoShow. Characterized by its exterior -wearing a kind of special black paint with blue racing stripes and exclusive 20-inch wheels -it's a limited edition.
The interior is like all the cars modiefied by Mopar used to be -stunning -but with all the brand new gadgets and materials. I'm going to put some photos down here.
Its engine, a 5.7-liter HEMI V8, gives 370 hp and 535 Nm of torque. It also has a five-speed automatic transimssion. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in about 5 seconds.
This supercar it's not one of the most powerful or faster or anything you want, but it's a limited edition (only 1.000 units) and it's cheaper than any other showed here: 40.000$.

LP700-4 Aventador
It is one of the most impressive pieces of machinery of the world, and it has been revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, like all the brand new novelties.
Amazing, unbelievable, beautiful, pretty, aggressive, imposing and so many words can describe this new Lamborghini. I’ve always been one of the biggest Lamborghini’ fan, since the first time I saw the spectacular Murciélago, the lightest Gallardo and the classical Miura. All of them are… are… sorry, can’t find the words.
But yes!, there are some adjectives I found out while thinking this post like lightest as it weights 1575 Kg due to its carbon fibre-reinforced polymer monocoque structure, powerful as its 6.5 liter V12 engine gives 690 hp and 690 Nm of torque, and fast, as its gearbox is a 7-speed independent shift rod transmission with 50 milliseconds shift times –the time spent while changing between one gear and the next. All those inventions or gadgets are suitable if you want to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach 350 km/h as top speed. I know that all the cars I’ve showed here are like this lambo or better, but read the technical characteristics again; it’s amazing, I know you are thinking this if you really like cars. They are supercars, prepared to go ‘till the extreme.
Some of they are also sold, although they will be on the market in late summer 2011. It will cost 255.000€ here in Europe, a bargain if you are one of supercars’ enthusiastic!

Koenigsegg has the solution! One year ago they presented the Agera in Geneva: it certainly was considered not as one of the highest supercar’ models, more likely as one of the better hypercars in the whole world.
So like if they don’t had too, Koenigsegg has created the Agera R, more powerful, lightly and with more torque between other things. Prepare: it has a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing the staggering amount of 1099 hp and 1200 Nm torque. Its wheels are one of the lightest in the market –as each spokes generates a turbine effect which creates some downforce, helping the car to be more stabilized-, such as its bodywork. Its aerodynamics is so innovating. Michelin also developed a special kind of tires only by this hypercar.
So, if you are billionaire and you want anything exclusive, fast and expensive, and you are thinking to buy a supercar but you are bored of the same supercars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, etc., be capricious and buy one of those Koenigsegg Agera R.

Yes, the mythical Jaguar E-Type is going to celebrate its 50th anniversary! To keep this going on and to celebrate this birthday in style, Jaguar has already announced plans to introduce a brand new car, the XKR-S at the Geneva Motor Show.
It seems to be the sportiest Jaguar I’ve ever seen. Its bodywork, exhaust, spoilers, … are so aggressive, like if it told you “hey, move away or I’ll step over you”. Well, back to what we were talking, this car is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that gives 542 hp and 680 Nm of torque. With that under hood, it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Its top speed, 300 km/h. Such as a novelty, Jaguar’ engineers have installed a brand new suspension system and a reprogrammed Adaptive Dynamics systems.
But when this car will be able for sale? I suppose after Geneva Motor Show! To end this article, I must say that it is a really and exciting supercar, ‘till the point that it has designed with the purpose to attract both loyal and new Jaguar fans, combining the comfort, opulence and class with elegance.

4WD Ferrari!
Yeah! Not as far as you'd think, the brand new Ferrari FF will be here... will be here to reach one of the highest positions of 4WD cars' world. This upcoming model will make its debut at the Geneva AutoShow in March to demonstrate us if its capable to accomplish those expectatives that are envolving this car.
So far we've seen videos and photos where the FF is runnin' on snow. Its behavior over ice and snow seems just like it'd has to be.
This four-seater Ferrari comes with all the brand new things Ferrari've started using, just like an all new chasis invented by themselves, and independent suspension with magnetically adjustable dumpers and Brembo carbon ceramic breaks. Such as the first Ferrari 4WD model, it has intelligent predictive torque distribution tech to optimize its power.
This power is the same that is given by a 6.3-liter V12 engine with 651 hp and 683 Nm of torque. Weighing 1790 Kg, can reach 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds -and a top speed of 335 km/h.
That's all.
